2009 Fees:

• $200 for U9-U10

• $250 for U11-U19

• $50 early registration discount for registrations completed or postmarked by 12/31/08.

[All of the registrations fees above include a $50 non-refundable administrative fee]

Example:  John Doe signs up to play traveling soccer on November 15th, he is 11 years of age he would pay $200.  $250-$50 discount.  Jane Doe (11 years old) signs up on January 3rd, and is a returning club player she would pay $250.

What type of commitment is there?

• Open to boys and girls, ages 9 to 19 (under 9 allowable at Club’s discretion). If 2 or more teams at an age level, Tryouts will be held, placement criteria will vary by age.
• Typical player commitment is 1-2 games per week and 1-2 practices per week. This varies by age level and team level. Expect 9-12 league games during season.
• Travel: normally, half the games are at home and half are away. Most away games are within 45 minutes of driving time. For U11 and above, home games at Ki-Chi-Saga Park, located within a mile of Chisago Lakes High School. U9 and U10 games will be at the Chisago Lakes Primary School.
• Players who attend all practices and games and who are physically able to participate will play at least 50% (classic 3 level) of game time in regular season games. Exception: Playing time will be at the discretion of the coach during the playoffs.

 What do the Traveling fees cover?

• MYSA league fees
• Referees for all league games
• Uniforms (2 jerseys (home and away) / 1 pair shorts / 1 pair socks)
• Team training sessions with a paid trainer
• District tournament registration and referee fees
• State tournament entry fees
• Equipment (balls, goals, gloves, cones, flags, speed ladders, first aid, etc.)
• Administrative expenses relating to registration, field scheduling and lining, coaches, and referees

What additional costs to individual families might be involved?

• Coaching fees (if a team does not have a volunteer coach)
• Indoor league fees
• Invitational tournament entry fees
• Travel costs, meals, and hotels for out of town tournaments
• Additional team apparel
• Optional camps and clinics offered by CLYSA
• Additional team training with paid trainers

Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) rules require all Clubs to have Player Birth Certificates on file for participation in the Traveling Leagues and MYSA sponsored tournaments.

Starting in 2009, CLYSA will require a copy of a Player's Birth Certificate to be submitted along with registration for the 2009 Traveling Leagues season.

Once submitted, and on file with CLYSA, there is nothing else a family has to do.

However, starting in 2009, a Player without Birth Certificate on file, will not allowed to be rostered.

If you are planning on participating in the 2009 season, want to plan ahead and get this small hassle out of the way, please forward a copy of your Player's Birth Certificate to the Club mailing address.

2009 registration begins Saturday August 23rd.  Signing up can be done in 3 easy steps:

 1.  Register Online or via Paper form.  We accept the following online payment methods:  Mastercard, Visa and Paypal.  You may also fill out a paper form and mail it with your check to CLYSA, P.O. Box 701, Lindstrom, MN 55045.  Please see the links below to register:

2009 Registration Forms

2.  Complete and mail your Medical Release Form.  This form covers a player for all CLYSA sponsored events, during the 2009 season. (Effective August 23rd, 2008 thru August 22nd, 2009).   Please click on the link below for the 2009 Medical Release Form:

3.  Forward via e-mail or regular mail a copy of the players birth certificate to the CLYSA.  A player will only need to do this once during his/her playing career.  Please use the link below to e-mail a copy of the birth certificate:
